PP Woven geotextile is made of polypropylene and polypropylene flat yarn, and is composed of at least two groups of parallel yarns (or flat yarns). One group is called warp yarn along the longitudinal direction of the loom (the direction in which the fabric travels), and the other group is called weft yarn in the transverse direction. The warp yarn and weft yarn are interwoven together into a cloth using different weaving equipment and processes. It can be woven into different thicknesses and densities according to different use ranges. Generally, woven geotextile is thin and has a strong tensile strength in both the longitudinal and transverse directions (longitude is greater than latitude), and has good stability.
1. Reinforcement: used in rock projects such as highways, railways, airports, rock dams, slope protection embankments, retaining wall backfill, and side embankments to disperse soil stress, increase soil modulus, limit soil slippage, and improve stability.
2. Protection: prevent embankments from being eroded by wind, waves, tides, and rain, and used for bank protection, slope protection, bottom protection, and soil and water loss prevention.
3. Anti-filtration: used in the filter layer of embankments, dams, rivers, coastal stone blocks, earth slopes, and retaining walls to prevent sand and soil particles from passing through, while allowing water or air to pass freely.
